About Me

My name is Romana and I am a foodaholic!

I grew up in rural Dumfries and Galloway with two chefs for parents (one Scottish, one Italian) and it is probably them that I have to thank for my love of food. I spent my childhood in and out of my Dad's Italian restaurant and eating out with my family. I enjoy food of all cuisines, especially Italian and Mexican and I like to think that I'll try almost anything.

I moved to Glasgow in 2010 to study at Glasgow University and was immediately impressed by the variety of amazing restaurants and cafes that the city has to offer.

I decided to set up this blog as a way of reviewing some of these amazing eateries and recommending good ones to others. As a student, I don't have a massive budget so I review a range of places for those on a tighter budget and let people know about any good deals that restaurants and cafes have to offer.

Although most of my reviews are based on Glasgow, I will occasionally review places in other parts of Scotland and from further afield, when I get the chance to travel. I might even throw in the odd recipe...

I hope you find this blog interesting and I welcome any comments.

Romana
